Jo is an award winning writer and director known for her involvement in creating exceptional and distinctive TV and film projects. She excels in collaboration and enjoys producing visually striking films that tell captivating and engaging stories.
She is slated to direct feature film 'Echolalic' for Erebus Pictures (Hoard, Bonus Track) in 2024. The film has been in devleopment with the BFI.
Jo has worked on International Feature Length documentary co-productions for The Discovery Channel and her film production work includes films by Mike Leigh, Anthony Minghella, Ridley Scott and Andrea Arnold’s OSCAR winning short film WASP. Her past TV work includes Drama for BBC, Channel 5 and Production work for TALKBACK (Topical Comedy) Spun Gold, Endemol and IWC.Jo is represented by Andrew Mills at Revolution Talent.

Breaking Through the Lens supporting female filmmakers.
Jo's project OWEN was selected for Breaking Through the Lens at the Cannes Film Festival.
The project is an international co-production and has been supported by the BFI, TeleCanada and Ontario Creates.
Jo is a member of Bafta Connects.
